My name is Felix and I’m heading into my twilight years. I’m a 9 year old Beagle and Bassett Cross. I have been living in a horrible pound in Northern Spain. And I really want to be back living in a house for my retirement. As you can see, the tiles all around me are wet- and I’m wet/ we get hosed out every day with cold water and it’s freezing in Galicia just now – there has even been snow.
I have a rescue team from Scotland trying to help me. I’m so grateful that the volunteer will be coming to get me as soon as the vet has chipped and neutered me. I’m going to stay as a foster doggie in a warm and cosy house whilst I get prepared to travel. I’m hoping someone will see me and offer me a retirement sofa. My bones ache with the cold here and I have to fight for food.
I’m going to stay with a lady called Jayne who will get me ready to come to my new home. She can keep you up to date with my progress whilst you wait- I’m hoping to travel at the end of February.
