Ermis is a 4 year old male Beagle Cross.
Ermis was found as a stray and brought into the shelter in poor condition—weak, skinny, and withdrawn. Despite his rough start, he has adapted well to shelter life and has been waiting patiently for his forever home.
Ermis is a smaller-sized hound cross, believed to be around four years old. He is a gentle, submissive, and good-natured dog who is friendly towards everyone he meets. His calm demeanor and loving nature make him an ideal companion for a relaxed home.
Ermis enjoys snuggles on the sofa and leisurely walks. He has made great progress on the lead and now enjoys spending time outside, especially in the sunshine. He would benefit from having a small garden to call his own.
Although Ermis has had a tough past, evidenced by a few scars and a reserved demeanor, he is resilient and quick to befriend new people. His tail wags at the slightest hint of kindness, and he is a favorite among the shelter volunteers for his balanced and patient character.
Ermis would thrive in a home outside of the city, where it is quieter and he has access to lots of nearby walks. He is friendly with other dogs and could be homed with or without resident pups.
He is avoidant of cats but could potentially learn to coexist with a resident feline. Ermis is patient with children but would prefer a home with kids aged 6+ who can respect his space and provide a more predictable environment.
Ermis is healthy, spayed, up-to-date with vaccinations, and microchipped. He is ready to travel to his forever home as soon as he finds one.
